Terms of Service

Last updated: June 8, 2026

These terms govern your use of Stdle (stdle.com). Please read them carefully. They work together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Stdle, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility & age

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where a higher age of digital consent applies) to use Stdle. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you can form a binding contract with us.

3. The service

Stdle is a free daily puzzle game where you guess what a short code snippet prints to the console. Playing is fully available without an account. Optional Google sign-in unlocks cloud-synced stats and the leaderboard. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

4. Accounts & your responsibilities

5. Acceptable use

To keep the game fair for everyone, you agree NOT to:

6. User content — nicknames

If you choose a leaderboard nickname, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that nickname in connection with the service (for example, on the public leaderboard). You are responsible for the nickname you choose. We may, at our sole discretion and without notice, remove, hide, or reset any nickname that is offensive, harassing, impersonating, infringing, deceptive, or otherwise inappropriate.

7. Intellectual property

The Stdle game, its puzzles, code, design, branding, and all related content are owned by the operator and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for your own non-commercial enjoyment. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that puzzles or explanations are accurate or complete. You use the service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, the operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or revenue, arising out of or relating to your use of the service. In all cases, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us to use the service (which is likely USD $0) or (b) USD $100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

11. Third-party services & links

Stdle relies on third-party providers (such as Google for sign-in and analytics, and our database host) and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service or your account at any time, with or without notice, including for any violation of these terms (such as cheating or abuse). You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

13. Changes to the service & terms

We may modify the service or these terms at any time. When we make material changes to the terms, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Stdle after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Thailand, unless a different governing law is required by mandatory local law. The operator will confirm the final jurisdiction before launch.

15. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force and effect.
