Why

A template literal converts each interpolated value to a string. Array.prototype.toString joins elements with commas and recursively stringifies nested arrays the same way, so [1, [2, [3]]] becomes "1,2,3". The nesting structure is completely lost in string form: commas alone, no brackets.
