Why

JSON has no syntax for undefined, NaN, or Infinity. When JSON.stringify encounters them as array elements, it substitutes null to preserve the array’s length and indices. (In an object, by contrast, a property whose value is undefined would be omitted entirely.) So all four elements serialize to null.
